![]() All the dishes that came out were of high quality and a good standard of presentation and flavour. I have been to so many Dim Sum places that just simply pile the dishes on the table and then take off and leave you in an uncomfortable situation and afraid you'll spill something. It also gave us a pause between dishes so we could actually enjoy it hot and right from the kitchen. The servers brought the food out slowly, which was great as we had little room on the table to put many of the dishes. This was a group visit so we ordered a plethora of dishes some common and some new. I do recommend a reservation as I've had people tell me they have waited a long time in line. On this visit for the review, we came on a busy day, waited only ten minutes as we did have a reservation but also know that this is a busy place. This is a classic dim sum joint that pays homage to the Shanghai Style of cooking. caring and attentive staff, who greet you warmly as you arrive, to the servers who take their time to explain the food and recommend items, to the food itself which is always fresh, and great tasting. Every time I visit I have the same great experience, right from the. One virtue that Ding Tai Fung has that keeps it on my favourites list is the consistency. Ding Tai Fung has been a crowd favourite & comfort food to some for years. The sauce was a little sweet especially with the onions already providing a tinge of sweetness to the dish with a splash of lemon balancing the whole dish beautifully. Taste: They separated the sauce from the stir fried meat & peppers hence the meat, peppers & onions were still crunchy upon arrival & gave us the pleasure of pouring the sauce over the dish. ![]() The pork chop was seasoned beautifully, resulting in a well balanced dish which wasn’t too salty. Rested on the top is a succulent pork chop which was slightly charred on the edges yet juicy within & sprinkled with pepper. Taste: Each grain of rice had a very smooth texture, evenly coated with egg & oil from the pork & sprinkled with chives. The prawns were fresh giving us a delightful crunch as we sank our teeth into it with the flavourful salted egg batter crispy on the outside & drizzled with chilli. Taste: Despite having sat in a delivery box and exposed to the evils of a typical delivery such as moisture and a very reckless rider, the dish still arrived piping hot & intact. Packaging: Nothing much to rave about with ordinary take away boxes Service: We placed the order via a third party app hence was pretty straight forward. We have dined in their branches across South East Asia & have always departed.
